Shahbaz Ahmed
Royal Challengers Bangalore bought uncapped cricketer Shahbaz Ahmed for INR 20 lakh (base price) during the 2020 IPL auction. The 25-year-old Bengal cricketer Shahbaz Ahmed hugely impressed with his all-round performances during the Ranji Trophy 2019/20 as he helped Bengal to reach the final of that tournament.
While Shahbaz hasn’t played any IPL match yet, he has played 16 T20s where the left-handed batsman has scored 158 runs (average 31.60; strike-rate 128.45), including one half-century. Also, as a left-arm spinner, he has picked up 15 wickets. However, he is unlikely to be selected in the RCB playing XI during the IPL 2020.
