The 35-year-old Indian wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik, who previously led Delhi Daredevils in six IPL matches, is currently leading the two-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). After two-time IPL trophy-winning captain Gautam Gambhir left KKR before the IPL 2018 season, newly-joined Karthik took up the leadership role of the KKR side. His present salary is INR 7.4 crore.
While Karthik has played the leading role in 36 IPL matches, his team won 17 matches and lost 18 games (one tied lost). Under his captaincy, KKR finished as the third-best team in the IPL 2018.
