The 28-year-old versatile Indian cricketer KL Rahul is the newest captain in the IPL. In the IPL 2020, the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) cricketer KL Rahul will experience his first IPL captaincy. His salary in the IPL 2020 is INR 11 crore.
During the last pre-auction transfer window, KXIP released their previous skipper Ravichandran Ashwin as he was traded out to Delhi Capitals. Then Rahul has been chosen as the new leader of KXIP. In both 2018 and 2019 editions, Rahul was the leading run-scorer for his side as he overall finished as the third (659 runs in 14 matches) and second-most run-scorer (593 runs in 14 matches) respectively.
