David Warner (Sunrisers Hyderabad) – INR 12 crore
The 33-year-old Australian opening batsman David Warner has returned to the captaincy role of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) as he has replaced Kane Williamson for this role for the IPL 2020. Warner’s IPL salary is INR 12 crore.
Under Warner’s leadership, SRH won its first IPL trophy in the 2016 edition. Warner, who also led Delhi Daredevils in two IPL matches during 2013 edition, has captained in 47 IPL matches, where his team won 26 games and lost 21 matches. Moreover, Warner is also one of the great batsmen in the IPL history who has won three IPL Orange caps (2015, 2017, and 2019). He is the only cricketer to win more than two Orange Caps in IPL history.
