Rajasthan Royals haven’t lifted the trophy since their last win in the inaugural edition of the IPL i.e, in 2008. They last qualified for the play-offs in 2018 under the captaincy of Ajinkya Rahane. For the much-awaited season, the franchise has restored Steve Smith as their captain.

The team also has physiotherapist John Gloster, Assistant Physiotherapist Anuja Dalvi Pandit.
They will play their first match of IPL 2020 against Chennai Super Kings on 22 September.
