Delhi Capitals (DC) have never reached the IPL final yet but they hugely improved their quality in the last edition (IPL 2019), where they claimed their joint-best achievement in IPL history by finishing as the third-best team.
For the IPL 2020, they retained the second-most wicket-taker in IPL history Amit Mishra, left-arm spinner Axar Patel and Nepal youngster Sandeep Lamichhane. Moreover, they added another experienced Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin in the full squad during the pre-auction transfer window.
Delhi Capitals not only have the four major spinners, but they are also different categories (Amit Mishra and Sandeep Lamichhane are leg-spinners, Axar Patel is a left-arm spinner and Ravichandran Ashwin is an off-spinner) which make them similar important in the squad.
