Ravi Bishnoi (Kings XI Punjab)
Rajasthan leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi made his domestic cricket debut in early 2019, where he has taken eight List A wickets and six T20 wickets after playing six matches in both formats.
However, he hasn’t experienced first-class cricket yet. But the 19-year-old highly impressed early this year during the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2020. While the India U19 finished as the runners-up in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2020, the leg-spinner Bishnoi finished as the most wicket-taker as he managed to pick up 17 wickets in six matches.
While Bishnoi entered the 2020 IPL auction with the base price of INR 20 lakh, the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) bought him for INR 2 crore. In the present KXIP line-up, the leg-spinners are Murugan Ashwin and Bishnoi. So, the youngster has a good chance to feature in at least a few matches during the IPL 2020.
