Mumbai’s bowling department suddenly looks mighty after they added their Mitchell Johnson. When they won the IPL in 2013, it was the new-ball pair of Malinga and Johnson who demolished the opposing top order. Along with this pair now, they also have the services of Jasprit Bumrah, someone who has emerged as a mighty fine prospect in limited overs for India. At the auction table, they filled in their spin cupboard by adding Karn Sharma and K. Gowtham.
On the batting front as well, everything looks fine with Rohit Sharma, Ambati Rayudu, Kieron Pollard, Saurabh Tiwary and Jos Buttler. The main challenge for Mumbai, however, would be to leave out some reputed names and ensure that they are playing their best XI on the field.
