Ireland ODI Tri-Series 2019 (Match 5): Windies vs Bangladesh – Statistical Highlights
On Monday (13th May), Bangladesh comfortably beat Windies by five wickets (with 16 balls remaining) at The Village (Malahide, Dublin). With this victory, Bangladesh secured their spot for the final of the ongoing ODI tri-series in Ireland. Windies has already qualified for the final. - It is the fourth consecutive 50+ ODI score for Shai Hope against Bangladesh. Before this knock, Hope scored three consecutive ODI centuries against Bangladesh.

- It is the second highest individual score by a Windies ODI captain against Bangladesh. The record is 117 by Brian Lara at Dhaka on 9th October 1999.
i) Bangladesh left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman had the bowling figures of 9-1-43-4.
- It is the joint second best ODI bowling figures by a left-arm Bangladesh bowler at the neutral venues. Previously, Mustafizur Rahman had another bowling figure of 10-2-43-4 against Pakistan at Abu Dhabi on 26th September 2018. However, the record holder is the left-arm spinner Shakib Al Hasan along with the bowling figures of 10-1-42-4 against Afghanistan at Abu Dhabi on 20th September 2018.
i) Windies off-spinner Ashley Nurse had the bowling figures of 10-0-53-3.
- It is the second best ODI bowling figures by a Windies spinner against Bangladesh outside the Bangladesh soil. The record is 7-0-13-3 by the Windies off-spinner Sunil Narine at St George’s on 22nd August 2014.
