Indian skipper Virat Kohli showered praise on the Indian bowling combination after team’s win against Bangladesh by an innings and 135 runs at Indore. The Indian bowlers were once again on target and ticked the right boxes to put themselves into the lead in the two-match series.
The Indian seamers continued their domination as they scalped 14 wickets in the match. Mohammed Shami was the pick of the Indian bowlers as he took seven wickets in the Test. Shami took three wickets in the first innings and then backed it up with another four wickets in the second dig.

Indian bowlers were right on the money.
Shami also got support from Umesh Yadav and experienced Ishant Sharma. Ravichandran Ashwin also snared five wickets in the match.
Virat Kohli said in the post-match presentation, “I don’t really know what to say. Clinical performances all around. The team is playing really well. I can’t say something which people are not seeing on TV (Talking about the good performance). Fast bowlers are at the top of their game. It looks like a different pitch when they bowl. Right now, Jasprit is not a part of the attack. So, when he comes back it will be a one heck of an attack to counter. It’s a dream bowling combination for any skipper. Even the slip fielders are ready as they know the ball can come any over, having strong bowlers is the most important thing. The numbers and the records are there for everyone to see. Our focus is to take the Indian cricket higher and higher. The motivation and the intent is right and we don’t care about the numbers. The motivation has been right, the intent has been right and we are going to keep pushing in that direction.“
On the other hand, Mayank Agarwal scored a sublime knock of 243 runs. Kohli added that he was not able to get the big scores in the initial phase of his career and he doesn’t want the youngsters to replicate the same mistake.

Kohli added, “I know the importance of getting big scores, I took a lot of time so I wanted him to score big. I don’t want the guys to make the same mistakes that I made”.
Meanwhile, India will play a historic Pink Ball Test match against Bangladesh. Virat Kohli is looking forward to the same with all the zest. Furthermore, the Indian captain also thanked the Indore crowd for turning out in numbers and supporting them.
Virat Kohli concluded, “The pink ball does a lot early on, more than the red ball. Pink ball test its going to be exciting. It’s gonna be a landmark event for Indian cricket and Indian Test cricket. The crowd over the last three days have been brilliant. It gives the players extra motivation to go out and perform”.
