Jasprit Bumrah is a very important pacer of the Indian national cricket team. He will miss out some upcoming international matches due to the fitness issues. Recently, the media reports have revealed Bumrah’s expected return to international cricket.
The 25-year-old Jasprit Bumrah is a very talented pace bowler who is consistently growing up. He is currently one of the most liked pacers in international cricket.
Since the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Jasprit Bumrah hasn’t played the limited-overs matches. He has played only two Tests since the CWC 2019. The right-arm pacer recently featured in the two-match Test series against the host side Windies and shined with the ball in hand. Apart from finishing as the leading wicket-taker (13 wickets), Bumrah also claimed a Test hat-trick in that series.

The team management is very serious on Jasprit Bumrah’s workload management. That’s why Bumrah hasn’t played a limited-overs match yet since the semi-final of CWC 2019.
The national selectors had included Bumrah for the upcoming home Test series against South Africa. While this series will begin on 2nd October, Bumrah has been recently ruled out from this series due to a minor stress fracture in his lower back.
Jasprit Bumrah can return to international cricket during the home limited-overs series against Windies
After the South Africa series, Bangladesh will tour India for the three-match T20I and two-match Test series. The T20I series will run from 3rd November to 10th November while they will play the Test series between 14th November and 26th November. According to the report, Bumrah has a lesser chance to return to the national squad during these series too.
In December 2019, Windies will play the limited-overs bilateral series against the hosts India. They will play the three-match T20I and three-match ODI series from 6th December to 22nd December. The report claims that Bumrah can return to the Indian squad during the home limited-overs series against Windies.

A source in the team management told IANS, “You can say that the team is looking at a return for the West Indies limited-overs series. The team management is very clear that they want no shortcuts and undergoing a proper rehab and returning fully fit is vital. The Bangladesh series would be too early.”
Jasprit Bumrah is presently the no.3-ranked Test bowler and no.1-ranked ODI bowler.
