South Africa’s fast bowler Kagiso Rabada is unfazed by the rapid rise of Jofra Archer and Jasprit Bumrah. Both of these fast bowlers have taken giant strides in the recent past as they have breathed down the neck of the opposition batsmen. However, Rabada believes that healthy competition at the top will push him to do even better.

Kagiso Rabada is one of the best fast bowlers in the world and he is generally right on the money with his line and length. However, Rabada had a disappointing World Cup for South Africa as he failed to deliver the goods.

Rabada likes healthy competition.
“It’s never easy maintaining a career, I’ve learned that there are a lot of ups and downs. I want to be the best in the world, everybody does,” Rabada told iol.co.za. “You are naturally going to compete in that fashion. I’m not too worried, I’m feeling nice and easy.”
Jofra Archer made a fine debut in the ongoing Ashes and he has been the talk of the town in the recent past. Similarly, Jasprit Bumrah is letting his performances do all the talking. Rabada feels this is great for the game.
“I admire those bowlers, they are good bowlers. Archer is such a natural talent; Bumrah is doing wonders and that can force you to lift your game”.
“You are not always at the top, that’s one thing I can tell you.”

On the other hand, Kagiso Rabada could only scalp 11 wickets in the nine World Cup matches. The talismanic fast bowler said that he is not angry but disappointed with his performance.
“I’m disappointed, not angry [about the World Cup]. What do I do with anger? When a setback comes, you want to be determined, you don’t want to change a lot of things. It’s about seeing where you went wrong and then putting in extra work.”
Kagiso Rabada will aim to make a solid comeback after an ordinary show in the World Cup. Rabada will like to come up with the A-game in the upcoming series against India which starts with the first T20I on 15th September.
