Kashvee Gautam Takes All The Ten Wickets Of The Opposition Team
The 16-year-old Chandigarh medium-pacer Kashvee Gautam recently created history by taking all the ten wickets in a U19 One-Day match against Arunachal Pradesh.
The match was played in the Women’s U19 One Day Trophy 2019/20. Chandigarh captain Kashvee Gautam won the toss and decided to bat first. In the first innings, her team scored 186/4 in the 50 overs. While the wicketkeeper-batter Simran Johal scored 42 runs and Mehul remained not out on 41 runs, captain Gautam scored the highest runs for the team as she scored 49 runs off 68 balls. Meanwhile, their opposition bowlers conceded a total of 36 extras, including 32 wides.

In reply, Arunachal Pradesh were bundled out for just 25 runs (8.5 overs). Apart from Megha Sharma played the unbeaten knock of 10 runs, all other Arunachal batters failed to reach the double-digit scores. Even the extras were the second most run-scorer in that innings which was eight.
During the second innings, captain Kashvee Gautam started with the new ball and took all the ten wickets of that innings. She started to pick up a wicket from the second ball of that innings and continued till the end of that game. In this incredible process, she also claimed a hat-trick.
While Kashvee Gautam took two wickets in her first over, she got three wickets in her second over (hat-trick) and two wickets in her third over. While she had a wicketless over in her fourth over, the Chandigarh skipper managed to pick up the remaining three wickets in the five balls of her fifth over.
At the end of that match, Kashvee Gautam had the bowling figures of 4.5-1-12-10. The medium-pacer claimed her hat-trick after dismissing the opener Nabam Martha (4), Abhi (0) and Sanskriti Sharma (0) in three successive deliveries of the third over of that innings. All three batters were dismissed through lbw. In fact, six batters lost their wickets through the lbw, and the other four batters were bowled by Gautam.
