Team India wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who’s playing for Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), believes the poor show from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) wouldn’t affect Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
Concurrently, Kohli is leading the RCB in the ongoing twelfth edition of the domestic professional league.
So far, since March 23, RCB has lost six consecutive games in the ongoing lucrative T20league.
Virat Kohli is the best: Kuldeep Yadav

The Chinaman Kuldeep has heaped praise on the world-class batsman. While mentioning Kohli has eclipsed numerous records, Kuldeep maintained the recent result won’t discourage Kohli.
“He’s one of the best in the world, has broken so many records I don’t think he will be affected by this,” Kuldeep told PTI.
Also, Kohli has bagged an unwanted record of losing six matches on the trot in the history of the IPL. Earlier, Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma had lost his five games in a row.
Meanwhile, the top-order batsman Kohli has shown versatility with the bat with every passing game. Thus, it further made Kuldeep believe that Kohli will remain as an indispensable part of the team.
However, the 24-year-old Kuldeep feels Kohli’s appetite for runs is altogether different when the talismanic batsman dons the national cap.
“He has a different hunger when he plays for India. Everyone is highly motivated to do well in the World Cup,” Kuldeep stated.
RCB’s combination isn’t clicking: Kuldeep Yadav

Apart from delivering goods for KKR, Kuldeep stated it’s the combination which has haunted the RCB camp.
In the IPL 12, Kohli has accumulated 203 runs at an average 33.83 in six innings. Among the most run-getters, Kohli is listed seventh.
“With 5000-plus runs, individually he’s doing his best. But maybe his team combination is not clicking. Maybe somewhere down the line, he’s lacking in team combination,” Kuldeep said.
Besides, Kuldeep reiterated Kohli is in good form. He’s hopeful to see Kohli continue performing well. Also, he remarked it would be good for the Men in Blue at the World Cup.
“He’s in great touch and if he keeps doing well like that it will be good for India in World Cup,” Kuldeep concluded.
India will kick-off their World Cup campaign on June 5 against South Africa in Southampton. The ODI showpiece will commence from May 30 in London.
