VVS Laxman

The former right-handed batsman VVS Laxman was one of the greatest batsmen during the legendary batting era in Indian cricket. During his international career, Laxman played some great knocks which saved the team from the deep, dangerous conditions. Despite playing with many legendary Indian batsmen, while team faced deep trouble, Laxman remained the last hope for his team.
Laxman played for India from 1996 to 2012. While he played 86 ODIs, his Test career was very wide as he played 134 Tests. The right-handed batsman scored 8,781 Test runs (fourth-most Test run-scorer for India) and 2,338 ODI runs.
Though many of his fellow legendary cricketers at least led the Indian team, Laxman never got that kind of opportunity in the international career.
