Bhagwat Chandrasekhar

The former leg-spinner Bhagwat Chandrasekhar was one of the legendary players in Indian Test cricket history. Although polio damaged his left-hand in childhood, he served for India between 1964 and 1979 where he played 58 Tests and only ODI. While the leg-spinner took 242 wickets in the Test career, he managed to pick up three wickets during his only ODI.
Chandrasekhar was undoubtedly one of the greatest spinners in Indian cricket history. But he never got the duty to lead the Indian team in Test cricket.
