Present BCCI Chief selector Sunil Joshi played for RCB

At present, the former Indian all-rounder Sunil Joshi is the chief of the selection committee of the Indian men’s national cricket team. But he was still an active cricketer during the beginning of the IPL as he officially retired from the game in June 2012.
From 1996 to 2001, Joshi played 15 Tests and 69 ODIs for the Indian team. Though he was not in the contention of the Indian team, Joshi appeared in the first-ever IPL match where he represented for the RCB. At the end of that match, the left-arm spinner had the bowling figures of 3-0-26-0 and the left-handed batsman scored only three runs at the no.11 position. Joshi played only four IPL matches and all were during the IPL 2008.
