Bangladesh pacer Mashrafe Mortaza is desperate to return to international cricket. However, the injury-prone Mortaza is struggling to return to the cricket and once again he has received an injury.
The 36-year-old right-arm pacer Mashrafe Mortaza hasn’t played a professional cricket match since the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. He is desperate to return to the cricket field as soon as possible because he is eyeing the upcoming edition of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

While Mashrafe Mortaza has just started his practice, he recently faced an injury. On last Sunday (17th November), when he was batting at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (Mirpur), he felt pain in his heap.
However, the injury is not very serious. Debashis Chowdhury, the chief physician of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), has assured that Mortaza will recover from this issue after a few days rest.
Chowdhury said according to bdcrictime.com, “Mashrafe’s injury is not serious. He will recover from a few days rest. Our physio has seen him. I still can’t see the condition. I was supposed to arrive today (Wednesday). But physio says the injury is not very serious. Resting for a few days will make him fine.”
I got a little hurt – Mashrafe Mortaza
Mashrafe Mortaza has also given the same news to the fans.

He claimed. “I got a little hurt. Not so much. After a few days of rest, I will be fine.”
Mashrafe Mortaza last played a professional cricket match was during Bangladesh’s last League stage match in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against Pakistan on 5th July 2019. Captain Mortaza led the Bangladesh side in that entire tournament where his nation finished in the eighth position in the points table.

However, the right-arm pacer Mortaza managed to pick-up only one wicket in that tournament after playing eight matches. He totally disappointed the Bangladesh fans in that tournament.
