MS Dhoni Angry.

It is always a rare sight to see MS Dhoni lose his calm on the field. MS Dhoni has been one of the great ambassadors of the game and has always played it in a calm and collective manner. There have been only a handful of instances in his 15-year long cricketing career when Dhoni has quarreled with a player or an umpire during a game.

The last time it happened was back in IPL 2019 when MS Dhoni lost his cool against the umpiring decisions taken in a game against Rajasthan Royals and Dhoni walked out on the field and had a very long rift with the on-field umpires in case of a no-ball decision. Once again, history repeated itself in IPL 2020 when Dhoni lost his cool on the umpires in a game against Rajasthan Royals.

In the 18th over of the game on Tuesday, Tom Curran edged the ball past his thigh pads and the CSK appealed. The on-field umpire raised his finger and sent Curran back to the pavilion. However, Tom Curran, asked for a review, only to find that Rajasthan had lost all their reviews. However, the leg umpire intervened and asked Curran to stop.

This outraged the CSK skipper and he went straight at the umpires for choosing to review something that has already been decided upon. Dhoni was visibly very upset with the umpires and had an on-field quarrel with the on-field umpires.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals scored a mammoth 216 runs in the first innings and Chennai Super Kings have a huge target to chase. It will be interesting to see how the Men in Yellow respond in the second innings.
