Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, with his co-star Kiccha Sudeep, came to Chennai ground to promote their film Dabangg 3. On the eve of the first ODI match of the series between India and West Indies, Salman Khan named “MS Dhoni” as his favourite cricketer.
In the show on Star Sports, Khan came to promote the third instalment of Dabangg franchise which will begin on cinemas on 20th December. Salman Khan shares a good bond with the wicketkeeper-batsman Dhoni who is on sabbatical break from cricket. Dhoni has been captured in Salman’s birthday parties. Both the celebs share a friendly bond. Salman has named the former Indian cricketer as his favourite and labels him ” Dabangg”.

Salman also adds the name of Kedar Jadhav in the list of favourites. After a long break, Jadhav has got the chance in Indian team once again against the visitors West Indies in the ongoing ODI series.
“I personally know Kedar Jadhav…Also, my favourite cricketer is MS Dhoni. He is a Dabangg player,” Salman said on Star Sports’ pre-show Nerolac Cricket Live.
Sudeep, who is acting as a villain in Dabangg 3, named former leg-spinner Anil Kumble as his all-time favourite. He also likes India’s limited-overs vice-captain, Rohit Sharma.
“My favourite player is the one who plays well on that day. But what we see as fans are the respect each player has towards each other,” Sudeep said.
“We can visibly see the players stand and cheer for the achievements of their teammates – with such a positive attitude, we can freely have our favourites. My all-time favourite has to be Anil Kumble sir, and I also like Rohit Sharma,” Sudeep added.
Meanwhile, India just completed the first ODI match against the Caribbean at the MS Chidambaram Stadium (Chennai). Windies have taken the 1-0 lead in this three-match ODI series after winning that game by eight wickets.
