Team India will go into the 2019 World Cup as one of the top contenders to lift the title. The 12th edition of the quadrennial event will be played in England and Wales from 30th May to 14th July. All the fans and players are gearing up for the event which will be the biggest cricket carnival in 4 years. One of the most important players for India will definitely be a certain MS Dhoni who happens to be the most experienced player in the current squad.
He led Chennai Super Kings to final of the just concluded IPL. He was quite exceptional with the bat in hand and in his decision making. Dhoni was the most consistent batsman for the Chennai Super Kings in the tournament. In all likelihood, the 2019 World Cup will be the final showpiece event for the former Indian skipper. He will definitely be a big weapon in the armoury of Virat Kohli.

Former New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum who led his nation to the World Cup final in 2015 for the first time their history. He stated that the former Indian skipper is an invaluable asset to the team and might prove to be the X factor for India in the showpiece event.

Meanwhile former England skipper and a batsman Kevin Pietersen said it is his calmness makes a huge difference. “His calmness gives him the ability to judge what’s in front of him, it doesn’t matter what situation it is, he is just one of those guys who you know would hold onto the ball when thrown at him.”

“The best thing about IPL this year was the rebirth of MSD’s batting, he took out all the bowling attacks in front of him,” he further added.
