Only captain to win three different ICC tournaments
MS Dhoni is one of the successful captains in the cricket world. Under his captaincy, India won ICC World T20 2007, ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 and ICC Champions Trophy 2013 along with other successes. There are very few captains in international cricket history who have enjoyed these huge numbers of international successes, especially in the ICC tournaments.
Of course, the former Australian captain Ricky Ponting won four ICC trophies as a captain (ICC Cricket World Cup 2003, ICC Champions Trophy 2006, ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 and ICC Champions Trophy 2009). But, Dhoni is the only captain till the date to win three different ICC tournaments.
