The 18-year-old Afghanistan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman has climbed up to the third position in the latest ICC ODI bowling rankings. Ben Stokes is the new no.1-ranked ODI all-rounder after Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is missing the players’ rankings due to his suspension.
On Monday (11th November), the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the latest ODI players’ rankings.
The Indian players have maintained the top positions of the ODI batting and bowling rankings. Virat Kohli is leading the ODI batting rankings while Rohit Sharma is just behind of him. The top 20 batting rankings didn’t see any changes.

Windies wicketkeeper and opening batsman Shai Hope was the leading run-scorer in the recently concluded ODI series against Afghanistan in India (229 runs). He scored 77*, 43 and 109* runs in that series. With these performances, Hope has maintained the 14th position in ODI batting rankings.

Meanwhile, the right-arm Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is carrying the leading position of the ODI bowling rankings. In the top 10 positions of this list, we can see only one alteration.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman replaced Kagiso Rabada in the third position of ODI bowling rankings
Afghanistan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman has climbed up two spots and he is now standing in the no.3 position of the ODI bowling rankings. In the recently concluded ODI series against Windies, Mujeeb took most wickets for Afghanistan (five wickets). South African pacer Kagiso Rabada (currently fourth position) and Australia fast bowler Pat Cummins (currently fifth position) both have slipped down the one spots in ODI bowling rankings.

Rashid Khan once again disappointed in that series against Windies as the Afghanistan captain managed to pick up two wickets. The leg-spinner has dropped down to the 11th position of ODI bowling rankings. Rashid has also slipped down one spot in the ICC ODI all-rounder rankings. He is now standing at the no.5 position in the all-rounder rankings while he scored only two runs during the series against Windies, including two ducks. While Rashid Khan has slipped down in the ODI all-rounder rankings, English cricketer Chris Woakes has climbed up to the fourth position.

Shakib Al Hasan is missing the rankings
Like the latest T20I players’ rankings, suspended Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is also missing the latest ODI players’ rankings. While he was the previous no.1 ODI all-rounder, now English cricketer Ben Stokes has replaced him. Stokes is in the great form in this year as he played a massive role for England to win the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

For his impressive all-round performances, Windies cricketer Roston Chase won the Player of the Series award in the ODI series against Afghanistan. Apart from finishing as the leading wicket-taker in that series (six wickets), Chase also scored 145 runs (average 72.50) – second most run-scorer in that series. Chase took a great leap as his latest ODI all-rounder ranking is 96.
