Aryan Bangar (son of Sanjay Bangar)
Former Indian all-rounder Sanjay Bangar was a top domestic player but his international career didn’t last long. From 2001 to 2004, Bangar played 12 Tests and 15 ODIs where he scored a total of 650 runs and took a total of 14 wickets.
However, in the recognised cricket matches (first-class + List A + T20), the right-handed batsman scored more than 10,000 runs and the right-arm medium-fast bowler took 423 wickets.
Later, Bangar became the batting coach and assistant coach of the Indian national cricket team. Bangar served a long time in this coaching staff (2014-2019). As a coach, he has immense experiences who earlier also guided India A team and the IPL team Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).
Now, Sanjay Bangar’s son Aryan Bangar has started to impress with his all-round performances in the age-group domestic cricket. After failing to earn an opportunity for the Mumbai U19 side, Aryan is now serving for Puducherry U19 side. In the Cooch Behar Trophy 2019/20 (U19 tournament), Aryan scored 487 runs and also took 35 wickets in nine matches.
