Former South African cricketer Jacques Rudolph has not named an Indian cricketer in his list of best players he has played with or face during his heydays. His selection of players in his list has come up as a big surprise for Indian fans.
Jacques had a long red-ball cricket career as he featured with the Proteas team from 2003 to 2012. The left-hand batsman Jacques Rudolph played 48 Test matches and scored 2,622 runs with a top score of unbeaten 222. In shorter formats, he has played 45 ODIs to amass 1174 runs while he has played a solitary T20I.
Jacques Rudolph hails Ricky Ponting as best skipper:

Although he didn’t have a big international career, he had a great domestic career. Under the Kolpak deal, the 38-year-old joined Yorkshire and played county championship. He scored 19,885 First-class runs and 10285 List-A runs along with 4016 T20 runs.
Jacques proclaimed his retirement in 2017 after playing the last game for Glamorgan in the County Championship.
Recently, he featured in the South Africa Legend’s team during the Road Safety World Tournament 2020 which has been postponed because of the pandemic.

Well, the Proteas has played with or against almost all the cricket legends around the world. He named the big cricketers like Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis, Andrew Flintoff and Shoaib Akhtar in his best list but didn’t mention the name of any Indian in his list.
