Sherfane Rutherford (Mumbai Indians)
The 21-year-old Caribbean cricketer Sherfane Rutherford made his IPL debut in the 2019 edition for the Delhi Capitals (DC). However, the youngster didn’t impress much in that edition as the left-handed batsman scored 73 runs and the right-arm medium pacer took one wicket in seven matches of that edition.
The youngster has played six T20Is where he has scored 43 runs (average 10.75) and managed to take only one wicket. Also, he has scored 585 runs and picked up eight wickets in 39 T20s.
In the IPL 2020, Sherfane Rutherford will serve for the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI). The four-time IPL winners have already a set team. Moreover, they have added strong foreigners like Chris Lynn, Trent Boult, Nathan Coulter-Nile etc. As MI have already a good middle-order batting line-up, Rutherford likely to spend the giant period of the IPL 2020 in the reserve bench.
