Tom Curran (Rajasthan Royals)

The 25-year-old England pacer Tom Curran made his IPL debut in 2018 edition for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). In that only IPL season, the right-handed pacer played five matches and took six wickets. He will now serve for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 2020 edition.
While he has played 18 T20Is for England and managed to pick up 21 wickets, he has also taken 149 wickets in 120 T20 matches. Though his T20 cricket records are very good, Rajasthan Royals have already some crucial overseas batsmen and all-rounders in their set line-ups (captain Steven Smith, wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler, all-rounder Ben Stokes). Experienced IPL middle-order batsman David Miller is also in this squad. Moreover, they also have foreign pacers like Jofra Archer, IPL 2018 Purple Cap winner Andrew Tye and Oshane Thomas.
Due to having many other big foreigners’ names, it will be very hard for Tom Curran to see his name among the four foreigners in the Rajasthan Royals playing XI in IPL 2020.
