Former Pakistan head coach Misbah-ul-Haq will head the cricket technical team alongside former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Hafeez, who will advise the Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman on cricketing affairs in the country.

Pakistan Cricket has been facing issues related to their domestic cricket and team selections in recent times as they have appointed Cricket Technical Committee to recommend the overall structure of cricket in the country and as the members of the committee have great experience of playing the game for the country over the years.

According to the statement PCB, they have welcomed the technical committee that will recommend Pakistan cricket on overall domestic structure, schedule, the appointment of selectors and national coaches for the team, and the CTC will take the final decision on the newly appointed coaching staff of the Men in Green going into the Asia Cup and ODI World Cup.
