Ali Khan
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) recently added Ali Khan (Muhammad Ahsan Ali Khan) in the full member squad for the upcoming IPL 2020. The 29-year-old USA right-arm pacer Ali replaced English left-arm pacer Harry Gurney, who has been ruled out from the IPL 2020 due to shoulder injury.
On 13th December 1990, Ali Khan was born in Attock (Punjab, Pakistan). When he was 18-year-old, he moved to the USA. Since 2016, he is participating in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). In last year, he made his international debut for the USA by making a debut in ODI cricket.
Ali Khan was introduced in the IPL during the 2019 IPL auction where he was unsold (base price 40 lakh). But after watching his performance in the recently concluded CPL 2020, where he took 8 wickets in eight matches serving for Trinbago Knight Riders, KKR have decided to select him as an overseas replacement player for the IPL 2020.
