Pakistan Should Learn From Indian Cricket Team And Virat Kohli Says Ramiz Raja

Former Pakistani player and present commentator, Ramiz Raja, said that Pakistan international cricket players should learn from Indian national cricket team and also from Virat Kohli to be successful. He also said that Pakistan team keeps playing the same combinations against low teams and this becomes tough when they take on stronger opponents at an international stage.

Once upon a time when N Srinivasan was part of BCCI, India was part of the new group along with Australia and England was called Big 3. These countries were the ones who staked most. Money then the other cricketing nations to fall in the line.

That’s what the reason for their success in recent times. He now wanted Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to follow some footsteps from BCCI and run the new way of Cricket in their Country.

Ramiz Raja while speaking on his YouTube channel said “The sporting mindset has changed now. Now the teams are confrontational. Just look at Virat Kohli and co. They have completely revamped the Indian team with their aggression and fearless approach.”

He also added to it saying that Pakistan national cricket team mostly plays with same combinations without trying new faces. This thing let them down during big stages in International level.

He spoked “Pakistan also have to adopt a mindset that matches their DNA. They need a think tank that lets them play modern day cricket. This difference becomes evident when Pakistan goes to World or Asia Cups or when in Test cricket they are pitted against a high-ranked side. There, the opposition plays attractive and entertaining cricket while it seems that we are still stuck in the 1970s.”
