ToggleThe Indian Premier League (IPL) is an exciting cash-rich league where the reputed and consistent players earn huge money for their reliable services. Their future value in the IPL mostly depends on their recent performances, especially in the IPL.
However, there are also some cricketers in recent years, who haven’t earned the eye-catching salary but played huge roles for their respective teams in an IPL season.
Here we are talking about the top five performers in the IPL who were sold very cheaply in recent times
Mayank Markande

The leg-spinner Mayank Markande made his IPL debut in 2018 at the age of 20-year-old. During the 2018 IPL auction, Mayank was bought by the Mumbai Indians (MI) for INR 20 lakh (base price). In the IPL 2018, he proved himself far more worthy as he scalped 15 wickets in 14 matches and finished that tournament as the best spinner for his team.
Later, in that same year, Mayank made his first-class debut, while he made T20 and List A debuts before the IPL 2018. The leggie is very consistent in the Indian domestic cricket. He has also played one T20I for the Indian team on 24th February 2019 (against Australia at Visakhapatnam), where he finished with the wicket-less bowling figures.
