Rahul Tripathi

The top-order batsman Rahul Tripathi highly impressed the cricket fans during his first IPL season in 2017. Now-defunct franchise Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) bought him for INR 10 lakh (base price) during the 2017 IPL auction. However, his performances were far better in that season. While his team finished as the runners-up in the IPL 2017, Tripathi finished as the second most run-scorer for his side as the right-handed batsman scored 391 runs in 14 matches with an average of 27.92 and strike-rate of 146.44. During the IPL 2017, Tripathi hit two half-centuries, including his best knock of 93 runs.
However, Tripathi failed to maintain that same image in the next two IPL seasons, where he served for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in a higher value of INR 3.40 crore. In the IPL 2020, he will serve for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as the franchise bought him for INR 60 lakh for the 2020 IPL auction.
