On 15th August 2020, two great Indian players, MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina announced their retirements from the international cricket. While Dhoni’s retirement was much expected, many Indian cricket fans have been shocked on the 33-year-old Raina’s retirement from the international cricket.
From 2005 t0 2018, Suresh Raina played 18 Tests, 226 ODIs and 78 T20Is. Once, he was an important member of Indian limited-overs sides. During his career, Raina has always set up a great image as a team-man.
Here we are talking about the five points that can prove Suresh Raina is a great team-man
Letting go of his favourite batting position

The left-handed batsman Suresh Raina liked to bat at the top-order. In his ODI career, while his batting average was 30.33 at the no.3 position, his highest batting average was at the no.4 position with 45.00.
However, he didn’t bat for a longer period at the top-order positions due to the overcrowding of top-order batsmen in the Indian ODI side. Despite having good batting averages at the top-order batting, Raina mostly batted at the middle-order during his entire ODI career and he was happy with this decision from the team.
