Contribution during India’s success in the ICC Champions Trophy 2013
Suresh Raina is always a busy cricketer on the field. Apart from his left-handed batting, Raina is also a great fielder and useful off-spinner. He was a member during MS Dhoni-led India’s victories in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 and ICC Champions Trophy 2013.
During the ICC Champions Trophy 2013, Raina didn’t get many opportunities with the bat due to outstanding performances by the Indian top-order batsmen. However, it didn’t affect in his game as Raina was highly busy on the field during that entire tournament as he finished that tournament with six catches – most catches during the ICC Champions Trophy 2013.
