One of the most talented batsmen in the world of cricket, Rohit Sharma turns 31 on Monday (April 30). Sharma who has always been considered as a gifted batsman has a few astonishing records to boast about.

The right-handed batsman Rohit is the only player to slam three double hundreds in One-day International cricket. No other has scored more than one.

The Indian opener also has the record of hitting the highest individual score in One-day Internationals of  264 which came against Sri Lanka in 2014 and might stay at the top for a long time.

Known for his stroke-making, Rohit also holds the record of scoring the joint-fastest Twenty20 International hundred, reaching the milestone in just 35 balls against Sri Lanka of late.

Rohit is on a high as he helped Mumbai Indians chase down a competitive target of 170 against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing Indian Premier League match on Saturday (April 28).

The cricket fraternity has always been in an awe of the Mumbai batsman ever since he came into the international fold.

Similarly, players playing against and with him have also praised the right-handed batsman for his style.

Pragyan Ojha who has played alongside and against Sharma on several occasions posted a special message for the latter on social media platform, Instagram.

Ojha is concurrently enjoying the commentary stint during the ongoing season of IPL. He also wished Rohit best of luck in future endeavours.

Ojha posted a video of Rohit Sharma, who shook a leg during a wedding ceremony and wrote, “Happy birthday brother man! Hope you continue to enjoy your life the way you are enjoying your dance… ?? @rohitsharma45.”
