The former Indian pacer Praveen Kumar believes that the variety in Indian bowling provides a big advantage for the Indian national cricket team. He also credited the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Indian bowlers’ international success.
Indian bowlers are now dominating in the cricket world. Many experts believe that the present Indian bowling unit is one of the most dangerous bowling units in international cricket history. Both in the pace-bowling unit and spin-bowling unit, India has qualities as well as a lot of varieties. Most of the Indian bowlers are very consistent in every situation, whether they are playing at home or away.

In last one year, the Indian national cricket team has made a lot of international tours. Starting from South Africa, the Indian bowlers have dominated in everywhere – in England, in Australia and now in the ongoing tour in New Zealand. Even, many times they put better performances than the host bowlers. Their performances in the Asian soil are also much similar in these days.
Praveen Kumar recently claimed that every Indian bowler has their unique style to bowl. He believes that these unique styles provide a significant advantage for the Indian national cricket team.
The former Indian pacer told India Today, “See, be it Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal or anyone else, all of our pacers and spinners are doing well. They all have their own unique style which gives us a huge advantage. We have a leg-spinner and a chinaman too.”

The swing-bowling specialist Praveen Kumar praised Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s bowling skills. He feels that the IPL has made a massive difference to the Indian bowlers as they know how to bowl safely. Praveen Kumar believes that the Indian bowlers benefited from IPL.
He said “Bhuvneshwar Kumar is bowling well with the new ball and we are doing good in the death [overs] too. IPL has made a huge difference, bowlers know how to bowl safe or to take wickets without getting smacked all over the park. Our players have benefited a lot from IPL, especially in the ODI and T20 format.”
Indian pacers like Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami etc. are dominating everywhere. Meanwhile, the spinners like Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal are providing the perfect support in the crucial middle-stages. The Indian bowlers are now the most vital part of the team.
