Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is famous for his remarkable statements though this time his comment has enraged Pakistan cricketers. His statements against the former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar has created a fuss in the rival nation. Now, former Pakistan pacer Rana Naved-ul-Hasan has also joined the debate on Sehwag’s statement.

In an old video, Sehwag in a humorous manner said that Pakistan cricketers praise India’s game to get the job in the Indian media. He added that the Pakistan players are always ready to laud India’s performance because they want limelight among Indian fans or do it for money–to earn a whopping amount.

Well, one of Sehwag’s videos caught the eye of Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar, who gave an instant reply to the former Indian cricketer on his YouTube channel.

In response, Akhtar had jokingly said that he has more money than Sehwag has hair on his head. Days after Akhtar’s reply, Naved lashed out at Sehwag for his statement over Pakistan cricketers.

“Sehwag has given a ridiculous statement against Pakistan cricketers. He said that we praise India because we need gigs in Indian channels. This is not true and I also take my words back because you people cannot digest respect,” said Rana.

“I played under Sehwag in a league in Dubai and we won that tournament under his captaincy so I praised him. Although we won that tournament because of the players but credit also goes to you [Sehwag] because you were the captain. You took it the wrong way insinuating that we praised you because we need stints in India channels,” Rana said.

Rana Naved-ul-Hasan lashes out at Virender Sehwag:

“You had given a ridiculous statement two years ago as well but we ignored it. However, we have to respond this time in order to shut you up on social media,” he added.
