The ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2020 finished with a negative note as some cricketers involved in the onfield brawl at the end of the final between India U19 and Bangladesh U19. While Ravi Bishnoi was one of them who have been found guilty in that nasty incident, his father spoke about this.
On last Sunday (9th February), India U19 and Bangladesh U19 faced each other in the final. It was a thrilling final where the Indian team batted first after losing the toss and were bowled out for 177 runs.
In the second innings, the leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi brought back the team into the game by picking up four wickets in quick succession. While the Bangladesh youngsters were struggling, injured Parvez Hossain Emon (47) and captain Akbar Ali (43*) played the crucial roles to secure that victory as Bangladesh U19 chased down the revised target of 170 runs (revised target had to chase in 46 overs) in 42.1 overs after losing seven wickets.

It was the first U19 CWC trophy for Bangladesh team. In fact, it was the first major ICC trophy in Bangladesh cricket history. Very much expectedly they had no deficiency in celebration. But at the very beginning of their celebration time, there was a nasty incident as some Indian and Bangladesh cricketers involved in the chaotic scuffle on the field and some other members were busy to handle them.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) found guilty three Bangladesh players and two Indian players for that brawl. The three Bangladesh players in that list were Md Towhid Hridoy, Shamim Hossain and Rakibul Hasan. Akash Singh and Ravi Bishnoi were the two Indians who were charged for that incident.
Ravi Bishnoi is one of my calmest children
Ravi Bishnoi’s father Mangilal Bishnoi was shocked after hearing all those negative incidents as he claimed that Ravi was his calmest children. He added that his son lost his cool while trying to save his victim teammate. Mangilal Bishnoi also revealed how upset his wife since the ICC charged them.

Ravi Bishnoi’s father told mid-day.com, “I wonder what happened to my son, because he is one of my calmest children [Ravi has two elder sisters and one brother]. He explained the sequence of events and the circumstances when he lost his cool while trying to save his teammate, who was being attacked by the Bangladeshi players.
“My wife has not eaten anything since yesterday.”
The leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi finished the tournament as the most wicket-taker who managed to pick up 17 wickets. It was also the most wickets for an Indian bowler in a U19 CWC history.
