Ravi Shastri Believes Captain is The Boss of The Team
The Indian Head Coach Ravi Shastri recently talked about the difference in the major roles between a captain and coaching staff. Shastri believes that the captain is the boss of the team.
Apart from some struggles, the Indian team has mostly performed strongly in the recent international cricket matches. Since Ravi Shastri became the chief coach of the Indian team in July 2017, he has shown full confidence to the Indian captain Virat Kohli and provided enough freedom on his leadership.

While it raised the huge differences between the skipper Kohli and the coach Kumble, the former cricketer resigned from the coaching role after the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
But while Shastri has always provided enough freedom on the captain Kohli, their relations have become stronger with the time progress. Their strong bonding has also worked to build up a strong team.
Recently, Shastri has clarified that the captain is the boss of the team, which Kohli acts in a top way. Talking about the roles for the coaches, Shastri has pointed out to preparing the players for playing confidently on the field.
Shastri told Sky Cricket Podcast, “The captain is the boss, I always believe that. The job of the coaching staff, as far as I’m concerned, is to prepare the guys in the best possible way to be able to go out there and play brave, positive, fearless cricket.”
