Ravi Shastri Believes Captain is The Boss of The Team

The Indian Head Coach Ravi Shastri recently talked about the difference in the major roles between a captain and coaching staff. Shastri believes that the captain is the boss of the team.

Since Ravi Shastri became the chief coach of the Indian team in July 2017, he has shown full confidence to the Indian captain Virat Kohli and provided enough freedom on his leadership.

Meanwhile, India’s previous head coach was the legendary leg-spinner Anil Kumble, who was strict on his rules and regulations. While it raised the huge differences between the skipper Kohli and the coach Kumble, the former cricketer resigned from the coaching role after the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

But while Shastri has always provided enough freedom on the captain Kohli, their relations have become stronger with the time progress. Their strong bonding has also worked to build up a strong team.
