There were many names present in the comments box. CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja also decided to answer the question and dropped his name in the comments. Regarded as one of the best all-rounders in the modern era of the gentlemen’s game, he was declared India’s Most Valuable Player’ (MVP) of the 21st century by a reputed cricket magazine in 2020.

The Royals’ Instagram admin pinned Jadeja’s comment and replied to him: “End of discussion.”

The all-rounder was part of the Rajasthan Royals squad that lifted the trophy in the inaugural IPL season. He played for them until 2010 before the Kochi Tuskers Kerala signed him at the auction. The Chennai Super Kings bought him in 2012 and since then he has been a match-winner for the franchise. He has been one of the most successful all-rounders in the history of IPL. He has played 184 IPL matches, scalping 114 wickets and aggregating 2,159 runs.

The Chennai Super Kings did not have a memorable season last year, but Ravindra Jadeja ensured they did not finish in the bottom 8th place. The 32-year-old played a couple of game-changing knocks for CSK in IPL 2020.

Ravindra Jadeja Wasn’t Included In T20I Squad For The Series Against England But May Return For ODI Series

As mentioned, Ravindra Jadeja has been an integral part of the Chennai Super Kings squad. Unfortunately, the all-rounder has been away from the field for quite some time because of his recurrent injuries. While he has now resumed training, the BCCI has still not included him in India’s T20I squad for their upcoming series against England. Instead, he might return to the Indian cricket team for the 3 matches ODI series against England.

But looking at the brilliant performances of the other Indian all-rounders like Washington Sundar and Hardik Pandya, it seems like the governing body might allow him some more rest ahead of a hectic season. He has played 51 Tests, 168 ODIs, and 50 T20Is. But in case Ravindra Jadeja does not play the ODI series, he is likely to return to action in the upcoming IPL which is scheduled to start on April 11.

Ravindra Jadeja had a batting average of 85 and a bowling average of 15 which is remarkable in the Test series against Australia playing 2 Tests. The all-rounder considered one of the most important players for the Indian cricket team was ruled out of the fourth Test, to be played in Brisbane, and also went surgery for his thumb.
