RCB Had Spent INR 9 Crores For Buying Isuru Udana In Mock Auction – Mike Hesson

Royal Challengers Bangalore head coach Mike Hesson revealed that the franchise spent a whopping amount of INR 9 crores on buying Sri Lanka’s all-rounder Isuru Udana in the mock auction. All the teams go through a lot of planning and strategy before the auctions and the RCB did the same. Royal Challengers Bangalore needed an all-rounder in their side and thus they went for Isuru Udana.

However, Isuru Udana was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for INR 50 lakhs and thus the franchise didn’t have to toil hard for the Sri Lankan all-rounder. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore also roped in Chris Morris, Aaron Finch, Kane Richardson, Dale Steyn, Shahbaz Ahamad, Joshua Philippe and Pavan Deshpande in IPL 2020 auction.

RCB will look to turn the tides in IPL 2020.

Royal Challengers Bangalore spent a whopping price of INR 10 crores in the IPL auction to buy South African all-rounder Chris Morris. Furthermore, RCB was able to get in the services of Australian limited-overs skipper Aaron Finch. The right-hander was bought by INR 4.4 crores by the club.

In the video which is posted by the RCB, Mike Hesson is seen talking about the qualities which Isuru Udana brings to the table. Hesson added that Udana has the variations under his belt and he can also provide the finishing touches for the team. RCB also has the services of Moeen Ali in their team who had done a fine job for the team in the previous edition of the IPL.

On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore is yet to savor success in the IPL history and they would aim to turn the tides in the IPL 2020.

RCB could not even qualify for the playoff stages of IPL 2019 and they would like to put in a better performance. The franchise had reached the final of the IPL on three occasions – in 2009, 2011 and 2016 season.
