The stylish opening batsman Rohit Sharma has become the hitman of the Indian National Cricket Team with his blistering strikes over the years.
Meanwhile, in a chat session, Rohit Sharma answered a few picked questions on Mumbai Indians‘ Twitter Panel. He revealed that there was a man in the production house of Star Spots, who gave him the name of Hitman, which was later picked up by the commentators in the air.
Since then, the name of Hitman reached the fans across the world whenever he comes up with a good knock for the team. His name was ”Peedi” who gave him the title Hitman and then called him the hitman of the Indian cricket team when he met him personally.
Apart from that Rohit Sharma revealed that he can understand a fair bit of Telugu language, as he was born in Telugu states and his mother also hails from Visakhapatnam. Rohit Sharma can even speak a bit of Telugu language but only a little.
Further, Rohit Sharma hesitated to pick one name of his best friends, as he got quite a few of them. Rohit Sharma also revealed his love for home food and said that he would prefer Japanese when he is travelling abroad.
Currently, the skipper of Mumbai Indians Rohit Sharma went for a family outing to the Maldives. This would be a long trip for the vice-captain of the Indian National Cricket Team, as he would be involved for a high-intense ICC World Cup 2019 in the next couple of months at England.
