The 33-year-old Indian limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma has recently revealed the names of the bowlers whom he has struggled to face in his international career.

Rohit Sharma made his international debut in 2007. Though he started to impress with his batting from the initial days of his international career, he struggled to maintain his consistency. Later, the right-handed batsman has been promoted to the opening batting position which has proved a massive decision for the Indian cricket as Rohit has reestablished himself into the international cricket and has maintained the impressive batting for most of the times. He is now one of the most consistent batsmen in international cricket.

While Rohit has already impressed as an opener in the limited-overs cricket, he has now started to continue it in the Test cricket. Rohit is currently the no.2-ranked ODI batsman and second-most run-scorer in T20I history.

Recently, during an Instagram live session with his national teammate, the 29-year-old right-arm pacer Mohammed Shami, Rohit revealed the toughest bowlers he faced in the international career. At first, he took the names of the former Aussie fast bowler Brett Lee and the senior South African pacer Dale Steyn.

Rohit said, “When I came into the side, the fastest bowler in the world used to be Brett Lee. In my debut ODI series, I went to Ireland to face South Africa, and Dale Steyn was pretty quick then as well. When I started playing, I really liked Lee and Steyn, I had difficulties in facing them as well.”

While the right-arm fast bowler Lee dismissed Rohit for twice in international cricket, Steyn has achieved only one success against Rohit.
