Australia skipper Steven Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft will be sent home as per the recent developments.
Therefore they won’t participate in the fourth and final Test match against South Africa.
Bancroft was caught on camera while attempting to change the condition of the ball with a foreign object during the third day of the Newlands Test.

The visitors lost the third Test match by 322 runs. Later on, Smith said they were desperate to gain an advantage against an impressive Proteas unit in Cape Town.
Cricket Australia Chief Executive, James Sutherland defended the coach. He said coach Darren Lehmann wasn’t involved in the planning of ball-tampering and that the former all-rounder will continue as the head coach of the side.

Sanctions to be announced on Wednesday
The sanctions on the players will be announced on Wednesday. Sutherland hinted it would be significant as the incident has brought shame to the cricket loving nation.
The incident also meant Smith wouldn’t be leading the Rajasthan Royals unit in this year’s IPL.
India Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane will wear the captain’s armband.
“Steve believes given the current circumstances it’s in the best interest of the Rajasthan Royals that he steps down as Captain. The team can get ready for the start of the IPL without the ongoing distractions.’ He would like to extend his gratitude to the BCCI officials and all the fans in India for their constant support,” Rajasthan Royals’ head of cricket Zubin Bharucha said.
Tim Paine was the interim captain on day four of the third Test match. He will continue to lead the side in the absence of Smith and Warner.
Glenn Maxwell, Joe Burns and Matt Renshaw will join the squad ahead of the final Test. The micro-blogging site has gone bonkers since the incident took place.
Many former greats and fans expressed their disappointment. Memes and funny clips have been doing the rounds. The visitors are trailing the series by a 1-2 margin.
Let’s take a look at how the internet reacted to the infamous exit of Smith, Warner and Bancroft:

James Sutherland continued the lie. The whole Aussie team had to be in on the cheat for it to work especially the quickies and keeper Paine. Lehmann with walkie talkie was managing the live TV attempt to conceal evidence. Warner Smith Bancroft

Suspending Smith, Warner and Bancroft but seemingly letting Lehman off looks a lot like @CricketAus are treating this as an aberration rather than a cultural issue.

Finding it really hard to believe that Darren Lehmann and others weren’t aware of what was going on ?? #SandpaperGate #SAvAUS

agree about Smith. Bancroft naive and I'm reading that the rest of the Aussie players have had enough of Warner, so maybe we won't see him again anyway.

Breaking: The Sutherland Commission has found Smith, Warner and Bancroft acted alone from the grassy knoll when they killed Australian cricket's credibility. #Over/Notover? #cricketcrisis #CricketAustralia @ScottsoWales @SidTheBody @MClarke23

I can’t believe for one minute that only three players knew what was going on…bowlers, coach and bowling coach weren’t involved in discussions of how to get the ball moving…whether it be by cheating or not! ?? #sandpapergate

So, three batsmen hatched a plan to tamper with the ball to HELP the bowlers. And bowlers didn’t know about it. I need time to process this. #SandpaperGate

The sanctions will be significant and will reflect the gravity of the situation, says James Sutherland. Looks like it will be some time out of the game for the three.
— Harsha Bhogle (@bhogleharsha) March 27, 2018
As I read the situation, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively will not only lose Smith (already done) and Warner as captains, but also players. If they are banned even for 3 months by CA can't see BCCI/IPL Governing Council allowing them to play
