The Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan might see his son playing for the Indian National Cricket Team one day. Unlike the other stars, Ibrahim Ali Khan wants to pursue his career in a different field altogether. Yeah, he wants to take Cricket as his career rather than going into the film industry.
Recently, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan was spotted in the cricket nets practising. Sporting a blue jersey and proper cricket gear he seemed to be completely invested in the game.
Saif Ali Khan’s father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi also know as Tiger Pataudi was a well know India cricketer and also a former captain of the Indian cricket team. So it is possible that unlike other star kids who are gradually making their way to the big screen, Ibrahim is preparing for a career in cricket.

Mansoor Ali Khan led India in 40 out of 46 Test matches he played and is still regarded as one of the top players for the country. He is also known for his astute captaincy and batting skills for the Indian team.
“Cricket is not just a hobby for Ibrahim, he is passionately following it. Saif Ali Khan and Amrita have both given him the go-ahead to try for a while and see if he has it in him to make it at the highest level. Ibrahim’s grandfather Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi was also the captain of the Indian cricket team in 40 out of the 46 test matches that he played, and Ibrahim is majorly inspired by him.
“He will give cricket a shot first. God forbid if he doesn’t do well, he can always fall back on films because he is also blessed with his parent’s genes,” a source was quoted as saying by Pakistan website.
Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out. Who knows Khan’s family might see yet another player heading to the Indian dressing room representing the country.
