So here we are at last! Former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin has finally accepted all the allegations of match fixing after watching the first-day first show of his biopic ‘Azhar.’ He literally confessed that he had taken money to underplay in 1999 during the private screening of the biopic, which he interpreted as a third-degree interrogation employed by CBI to extract truth from him.
Earlier a buoyed Azhar revealed in the media that he have decided to clarify the match-fixing allegations charged against him through this latest movie and would silence his critics before he headed to Balaji Motion Picture studio to watch the special screening of the movie.
The entire production team looked extremely jubilant when they greeted him with a smile. Anthony D’Souza, the director of the movie, stared at each and everyone present there with a self-assuring smile as he played the video amid thunderous applause.
Twenty five seconds into the movie and a visibly disoriented Emraan Hashmi walks towards the crease like a man who just survived a traumatic head injury.
“What is it?” confused and puzzled Azhar sought a clarification.
“Your biopic,” the entire team smiled broadly.
Everyone quickly shifted their focus back to the movie as Emraan Hashmi plays a lofted cover drive and a couple of flicks through the onside.
“Damn it, is this how I used to play? And all my life I was living under the impression that I was a gifted batsman,” he covered his face in frustration with his palms.
“But I trained hard for four months to perfect your signature flick,” Emraan Hashmi tried to justify.
“If four months of training were enough to learn cricket, Chetaswar Pujara would’ve been playing DIlscoop by now,” his eyes shift focus towards the screen yet again where Emraan Hashmi indulges in a few intimate scenes, “It seems you perfected things that are not remotely associated with my cricket. By the way, why is everyone talking like that?”
“That’s your Hyderabadi accent, bhai. Don’t you recognize!”
“Oh my God, I thought it’s a newly invented language.”
“It will be a cult classic, take my words” pronounced the director.
“Yes, only if it was classified under comedy,” Azhar laughed.
Everybody concentrates on the screen. Emraan Hashmi dedicates an award to Sangeeta Bijlani during post match presentation and “Oye Oye,’ song follows.
“Who are you?” Azhar looked at everyone seemed quite nervous.
“Balaji Film Production.”
“Cut the crap Mr. K. Madhavan, you cannot hide your identity behind a pathetic wig. I can’t believe it. Why did you stoop so low to extract truth from me? Kyun kya bigara tha be humne tera? Ok fine, I accept all the charges but who gave you the right to put me through this several years after the incident, you cheater. I didn’t expect this”
“Oh c’mon Azhar you know it, that’s not what we are trying to prove.”
“You have proved enough. Stop this bullshit now. Another 15 minutes and you would probably prove that I am a superhit pornstar as well. You know, these days whenever I type my name on google, this guy pops up on the monitor,” he pointed towards Emraan Hashmi as he rushed out of the room with visible anger and agony, but it was Emraan Hashmi who stopped him and invited him to finish the movie.
However, for some strange reasons, Azhar grabs Mr. Hashmi by the collar and choke slams him before others intervened to save the actor and escorted him outside.
Later a close source to Azharuddin claims, Azzu bhai locked himself in his room throughout the night.
