VVS Laxman
Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman was also very much selfless cricketer. When the Indian team was in trouble, Laxman was ready to save the team. The versatile cricketer was always ready to bat at any position. From 1996 to 2012, Laxman played 134 Tests and 86 ODIs. During his long international career, Laxman played so many useful innings with the bat, which the Indian cricket fans will never forget.
Like his successful Indian batting partner Dravid, Laxman also ended his Test career early to open up the chances for the youngsters. Though he was even selected for the home Test series against New Zealand in the second half of 2012, he took the Test retirement before that series.
