Former Indian World Cup-winning captain MS Dhoni is one of the most successful captains in international cricket history. The cool and calm cricketer is a great batsman with the mastery level of finishing skills and also a smart wicket-keeper along with the speedy movement skills.

From December 2004 to July 2019, Dhoni has played 90 Tests, 350 ODIs and 98 T20Is. Under his captaincy, India achieved many successes, including winning the ICC World T20 2007, ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, ICC Champions Trophy etc. Though he hasn’t played a recognised cricket match since July 2019, he hasn’t retired from international cricket yet.

While Dhoni was a highly successful top-order batsman, he gave up those spots for the youngsters and became happy with the finishing role.
