Shane Watson, a key member of the Chennai Super Kings franchise was excited to be back for their first training session without those members who had tested positive for the coronavirus last week in Dubai on Friday. All the members of the CSK squad had to take the coronavirus test on Thursday, before the training session and was granted permission to train only when they tested negative.
Shane Watson, who has been a key member of the CSK squad in the last two years and has often been able to give them much needed start at the top of the order, was also part of the training session. He started his IPL career with the Rajasthan Royals in 2008, where he won the trophy under his Australian teammate Shane Warne. He also went to win the Player of the tournament title in the maiden edition of the IPL and remained with Rajasthan Royals till 2015 before signing up for Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2016. He plays for CSK since 2018.
Shane Watson Excited To Be Back With CSK Teammates
In the last two years, he has been with the Chennai Super Kings, where he has played 32 matches for the team, scoring 953 runs. He also smashed a stunning century in the finals of IPL 2018, where CSK lifted their third title after defeating the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He also played a crucial knock in the 2019 IPL too, but MI won by 1 run.

The Queensland born Shane Watson has so far played 134 IPL matches where he amassed 3575 runs averaging 31.08 and scoring as many as 4 centuries besides taking 92 wickets averaging a modest 29.15.
In 2018, he had scored 555 runs while in 2019, he scored 398 runs. He did not bowl in 2019 but picked up 6 wickets in the 2018 IPL.

In another post on the Chennai Super Kings Twitter handle, Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja could be seen with a mask on his face and with a thumbs-up to the camera.

Ravindra Jadeja has scored 1927 runs in 170 matches and has also taken 108 wickets. He is yet to score a half-century but has taken a five-wicket haul once in his career where he represented Rajasthan Royals, Gujarat Lions, and CSK. IPL 2020 which was postponed from 29th March is scheduled to start on September 19 with three venues in the UAE to be played in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
