Former Australian cricketer Shane Watson is one of the great cricketers the world has ever seen. After retiring from international cricket, he is a regular player in every franchise leagues which takes place across the globe. Currently, he is playing in Pakistan Super League 2020 and will feature in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) for Chennai Super Kings.

The star all-rounder is proven bowler apart from winning games for his team. For his excellent skills, he has been retained by the CSK consecutively three times.

While talking to Espncricinfo, he was asked to pick the best captain, he has played under. The Aussie all-rounder could not pick one while he went on to name four captains, under whom he has enjoyed playing. He named Shane Warne, Ricky Ponting, MS Dhoni, and Rahul Dravid.

Watson has played under Dravid for Rajasthan Royals while he currently plays under Dhoni’s captaincy for CSK. Whereas, Ponting and Warne were his national teammates.

As the 38-year-old is prolific in every department, he was asked that in which cricketing ground he likes to field. He said that he would love to do fielding in any of the grounds based in the subcontinent.

Watson was the part of 2013 and 2015 World Cup-winning team when inquired which was his most memorable mega event, he picked the 2015 World Cup which Australia eventually went on to win.

The right-hand batsman Watson retired from international cricket in 2016. He has played 190 ODIs, 58 T20Is and 59 Tests for Australia.

Now, Watson will be seen featuring in the IPL. His numbers has been good in the cash-rich league. He amassed 3575 runs, which includes four centuries. Watson further registered his personal best score of 117* which came in the grand finale of the IPL 2018 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
